Good Morning Loves,
Happy New Year! Time for a bright new calendar to show yourself grace and fill up days with love and laughter.
Doesn’t that sound nicer than losing 10 pounds? Resolutions are so last year.
2023. What a year. As Eric and I settle into the apartment in our historic building, still living with a folding table, folding chairs, and an air mattress as we wait for our real furnishings to be delivered, we are looking back on the past year and it might have been our wildest one yet.

To say it’s been a whirlwind would surely be an understatement. Tuesday I start my dream job with Secret Food Tours, and as I learn more about Nashville, I’m surprised at how much I love it. The people, the food, the continuous music almost everywhere you turn, no matter what time of the day or night, are all seducing me slowly, but with a firm grip. I’m falling into the city’s lair and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
Nashville is my fever dream. A fever dream from the 1970s where a lot of the men look like they stepped off the cover of a Three Dog Night album and the women have a Stevie Nicks vibe. I’m here for it. I can’t get enough.
Hand me my platform shoes, please.
I was going to do an end of the year wrap up, but you’ve already read that stuff. Let me leave you with a few snaps from my new home.

Promise you’ll come visit me. I live around the corner from the famous Broadway Street. Eric and I can walk 4 blocks and be in the thick of the action, then turn right around and walk away from it all to our fab pad in the old bank building.
Hug each other tightly and call your lawmakers. Remember you are ENOUGH. And always have been.
I love you.
xoxo,
P.
